ABOUT BESS 2026
In the face of ongoing climate challenges and socio-environmental fragility, businesses and economies must evolve beyond traditional models. Political instability and competition for natural resources exacerbate vulnerabilities, disrupt supply chains, and threaten social stability. In this matter, the transformation of businesses and economies into smart and sustainable systems has become an urgent necessity for ensuring environmental balance and economic resilience.
At the heart of this transformation is the integration of green innovation, technological advancements, ecological responsibility, and social equity. Green innovation encompasses the development and application of new technologies and business models that reduce environmental harm while promoting economic value. It includes renewable energy adoption, circular economy principles, sustainable manufacturing practices, and digital solutions that foster environmental stewardship.
In this context, BESS 2026 aims to provide a multidisciplinary academic platform to discuss current developments, research, and innovative practices that support the advancement of sustainable economic transformation.
